A Blow To DP Ruto As a UDA Gubernatorial Candidate Steps Down In Favor Of Opponent

With the August nineth general elections fast approaching, campaigns are on the homestretch as politicians traverse their respective justifications to woo voters.

As the Kenya Kwanza Alliance and Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Alliance look to consolidate their numbers of elective post accross the country, it is also the time for indipendent candidates and calculative party runners to reflect and allign themselves with a possible victorious sides.

As a result of these calculations, Deputy president William Ruto and his UDA party has been delt a big blow following stepping down of their Isiolo gubernatorial candidate Hussein Tene.

According to The Star, Tene who was considered an Kenya Kwanza Alliance strong man at the county has stepped down from the race in support of Godana Doyo who is vying on an Independent ticket for the top county seat.
