Garissa Township Member of Parliament Hon Aden Duale has for the first time delivered his clearest signals that his heart could be belonging to another political camp other than Ruto’s Tangatanga camp. This is after the vocal legislature has now come out to claim that he doesn’t trust anybody in the political arena including Deputy President Willam Ruto, his current master.
Speaking to the Sunday Nation, the lawmaker has openly claimed that too much trust, fake promises as well as greed for power are one of the basic things that are making it difficult for political leaders to stick with each other even for at least 5 years. He also referred to the ongoing political temperatures in the country as a result of the sudden death of the BBI process, which he believes that the liked of Anne Waiguru have now came to their senses as a result of the heartbreak.
“It is sad that we are trusting them (political leaders) too much such that we even attempt to worship them. We must come to our realization that these are human beings like us and there is no need to keep on receiving less in the name of supporting your master. In my case, I don’t trust anybody including him (Wiliam Ruto),” Duale Told the Nation.
But then, it is amazing that Aden Duale’s announcement comes amidst the backdrop of claims that the North Eastern Region has already formed a political Tsunami which will be used during the upcoming 2022 general election as well as negotiation in the National Cake.
According to some unverified claims and reports, that Aden Duale could be following the footsteps of his predecessor (Moses Kuria and Mwangi Kiunjuri) who have refused to advance their 2022 political ambitions under the UDA Party.
