Heristone Wanyonyi has won himeslf a gold medal in the 10,000m race walk that took place in Kasarani Stadium earlier today.
It has gone to the records as the first gold medal for Kenya in this category.
Wanyonyi finished in 42:10.84 while Amit Kumar from India finished in 42:17.94, winning himself a silver medal.
