A popular presidential candidate contesting in the August 9th general election has vowed to name controversial lawyer, Miguna Miguna, as the Chief Justice once he forms the government.

In an interview with one of the local media houses, Prof. George Wajakoyah said once he is elected as President in August, his first task will be to bring Miguna Miguna home.

Miguna was exiled to Canada by the Kenya government in 2018 and he has been attempting to come back to his country but the Government has been blocking him.

Wajakoya said once he wins, Miguna Miguna will be allowed to come to Kenya and he will name him the Chief Justice of Kenya because he is a fierce human rights defender who has demonstrated through his books and speeches across the world.
