Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has promised to deliver all Mt Kenya votes to President William Ruto in the 2027 presidential election.
The DP made it clear on Sunday in Nandi County, where he presided over a fundraising at the Kapsabet ACK church, that he must ensure he delivers a hundred percent vote to Ruto in 2027.
“I have called on Mt Kenya people to unite and rally together so that we push a common agenda,” Gachagua said in a statement.
The DP stated that he would have preferred to do much better, which is why he has been working tirelessly to ensure that Mt Kenya supports Ruto.
He said that the only reason some of the members were in Azimio was due to intimidation from the previous government, and that he was now negotiating with a large number of them in order to return them home.
Gachagua forcefully stamped authority, promising that he oversaw the centre region and that all of the region’s forces would be on track soon as he put his territory in order.
“I have called everyone from the mountain, and I want to bring everybody on board, behind President William Ruto,” Gachagua said in a statement.
