Controversial Miguna Miguna, a Kenyan barrister and lawyer, revealed today that he had unfollowed former US President Barack Obama due to his views about the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas.
Obama praised Israel’s attack on Hamas fighters on his X platform on Tuesday, saying it is their right to defend themselves.
“The brazen terrorist attacks on Israel and the slaughter of innocent civilians should horrify and outrage all Americans.”
“We grieve for those who died, pray for the safe return of those who’ve been held hostage, and stand squarely alongside our ally, Israel, as it dismantles Hamas,” he said.
“As we support Israel’s right to defend itself against terror, we must keep striving for peace for Israelis and Palestinians alike.”
Miguna was so enraged by the remark that he unfollowed the former US President and called him out on his hypocrisy.
“Today, I unfollowed you. What a charlatan!”
Miguna has always advocated for the rights of Hamas, which is based in Palestine, claiming that Israel has treated them unfairly.
