Prof. Herman Manyora of the University of Nairobi has urged President William Ruto from sidelining his deputy, Rigathi Gachagua.
Manyora told Spice FM on Tuesday that Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Coalition Party leader Raila Odinga and President Ruto have reached an agreement.
According to the seasoned political analyst, if the transaction becomes public, it will jeopardize Ruto and Gachagua’s relationship.
Manyora further claimed that if an agreement is struck between the two political heavyweights, Gachagua and Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka will suffer as collateral damage.
“Ruto has a problem; the main shareholder in his government is not a small boy, and he is not afraid to say what he thinks.” “If the deal becomes public, Gachagua will cause a lot of problems for Ruto,” Manyora explained.
Manyora went on to say that if Raila had not approved the tour, Ruto would not have been able to draw such a large crowd in Nyanza.
“Rigathi Gachagua and Kalonzo Musyoka must be terrified.”
“There is an agreement between Raila and Ruto.”
“That kind of thing that played out in Nyanza should not have happened if Raila had not given his nod,” he added.
