Azimio Raila Odinga, the Kenya Alliance supremo, was forced to run for his life on Friday after Turkana county residents rejected him.

Raila visited Turkana County for the Turkana Cultural Festival, which began on Thursday.

Following the turmoil, the meeting was called to a close.

The cause of the disturbance was not immediately determined because the ODM boss has yet to speak.

However, it was revealed that Raila was refused the opportunity to speak at the Cultural Festival, causing him to depart the podium.

When the traditional dances took too long before the commencement of the talks, the program became chaotic.

Raila’s followers responded by chanting that he should be allowed to address the assembly.

They battled with supporters of Turkana Governor Jeremiah Lomorukai at the rally at this point.

However, security officers were able to calm the throng down.

In an apparent allusion to Raila and his entourage, Turkana Central MP Joseph Namuar took the microphone and said that the visitors from Nairobi should leave.

Raila and his entourage departed the ceremony before speaking to the press at Lodwar Airstrip.
