The assassins of deceased Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) ICT manager Chris Msando may face life in prison.
This comes after Msando’s mother, Maria Msando, died without forgiving them for the death of his innocent son.
Siaya Governor James Orengo confirmed her death and sent his condolences to her family.
“My heartfelt condolences to the late IEBC ICT Manager Chris Msando’s family, friends, and relatives on the passing of their family matriarch Mama Maria Msando.”
“Mama had a magnetic personality and the ability to deeply care for others, which enabled her to cultivate many long-lasting relationships.” “May her soul rest in Eternal Peace,” Orengo said in his eulogy.
The news is devastating for Msando’s family, who lost their former ICT manager days before the 2017 elections.
Mama Maria has yet to learn who killed her son and why they had to take him from this world till her death yesterday.
She had prayed and hoped that the future government would solve her beloved son’s murder case, but she died without hearing from either Uhuru Kenyatta or William Ruto’s governments.
