Musalia Mudavadi, Prime Cabinet Secretary, has resisted an order from Head of Public Service Felix Koskei to relocate his office from Railways Headquarters to the Old Treasury Building on Harambee Avenue.
In a memo, Koskei declared that the Ministry of Public Service, Performance, and Delivery Management, led by CS Moses Kuria, would be relocated to the Railways Headquarters, where Mudavadi worked.
Mudavadi, who also oversees the Foreign Affairs docket, stated on Twitter that he will continue to work from the Railways Headquarters.
“For the avoidance of doubt, the Office of the Prime Cabinet Secretary and Cabinet Secretary for the Ministry of Foreign and Diaspora Affairs remains at the Railways Headquarters,” said a statement from his office.
Mudavadi’s remarks placed him at odds with Koskei, who is widely regarded as President William Ruto’s point man in the Cabinet.
