After meeting with President William Ruto, billionaire Bill Gates scored a lucrative agreement in his government.

This follows Ruto’s selection of his foundation to counsel him on Maisha Namba.

The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, which is related to billionaire Bill Gates and his ex-wife Melinda, has agreed to advise the Kenyan government on the planned distribution of the Maisha Namba Digital Identification Document (ID).

Maisha Namba follows the administration of previous President Uhuru Kenyatta’s abortive attempt to implement a similar ID, Huduma Namba.

Maisha Namba will be the third-generation ID, with a unique number provided to every Kenyan at birth and used from birth to death.

“Our role is always to advise.” “We can connect the government to key technical experts and partners,” Foundation CEO Mark Suzman told a local newspaper.

“We have a number of targeted investment opportunities in digital identity.” We actually make it available on a greater range of platforms.”

The millionaire, who is known to support GMO foods, has met with Ruto in a series of meetings since he took office, with the majority of the discussions shrouded in secret.

According to sources, the agreement will connect the government with key technical experts and partners who will provide professional advise to ensure a successful implementation.

According to the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, there are numerous opportunities in Kenya that can be realized by harnessing the power of digital identification.

The government had planned to launch the Maisha number on October 2 before canceling the plans, reportedly to allow for proper public engagement.
