Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga was observed in State House, Nairobi, on Tuesday, dining with a visiting Royal couple, King Charles III and Queen Camilla, who arrived in the country on Monday, according to National Assembly Majority Leader Kimani Ichung’wah.
The Azimio supremo was among the top executives invited to a State Banquet hosted at State House on Tuesday evening in honor of the British Monarch.
Speaking on the sidelines of the National Dialogue Committee, which is now taking place in Kenya’s Bomas, Ichung’wa, a Kikuyu Member of Parliament, stated that Raila was invited to the Banquet in the same way that other leaders were.
He stated that Raila was invited to the Africa Climate Summit, which was held in Kenya last month, in the same way as they were.
“Just as His Excellency was present for dinner during the Climate Summit 2023, so was the former Prime Minister.” Dr. Kalonzo and I were not present since we had other commitments. “But we were all invited,” Ichungwah added.
