Former President Uhuru Kenyatta deserves praise from Moses Kuria, the cabinet secretary for public services, for initiating the Huduma Kenya Service Delivery program.
After presiding over the Huduma Kenya 10th Anniversary celebration on Wednesday, Kuria expressed gratitude in a statement to Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru and other key players for their contributions to the establishment of Huduma Centers throughout the nation.
Kuria said, “The journey to establish Huduma Kenya has been a long one, and I take this opportunity to appreciate Governor Anne Waiguru, Former President Uhuru Kenyatta, and all the other stakeholders who helped us realize this dream ten years ago.”
The CS urged public employees to imitate the services provided at Huduma Centers, stating that he is proud of them.
“I want to encourage all public workers to aspire to the excellent services that our officers at Huduma Centers give because I’m quite proud of them. We need to transition from public employment to public service, as I have indicated in numerous places, the CS said.
Former President Uhuru Kenyatta launched the Huduma Centers project to provide high-quality services to all Kenyans.
