Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has maintained that he will vie for the presidency in the 2022 general elections. Kalonzo, while speaking at a funeral in Mwingi Kitui County, claimed that he has positioned and readied humself to battle it out with Deputy President William Ruto. This is according to Radio Citizen news.
Kalonzo says according to his plans, he is sure that he will beat DP Ruto in the elections. He attended the funeral together with UDA chairman Joshnson Muthama-a party associated with DP Ruto.
“Defeating William Ruto is my number one priority and I have reasons for it.”
Kalonzo has said that he is now focusing his strength on the battle for the presidency between him and Ruto. He also poured cold water to the Hustler Nation and wheelbarrow ideologies.
“Nimeona kwa magazeti ikisema ati mimi na Raila tuliketi pamoja. I am a very straightforward talker. The number one agenda item and my friends Mudavadi, Wetangula and Gideon Moi have mandated me to talk on their behalf,” the Wiper Leader said.
