Why do you think pulling KDF out of Somalia will end Alshabaab attacks in Kenya?

KDF should pull troops from Somalia to end Alshabaab attacks on Kenyan soil. This is the most ignorant statement to exist for decade. Terrorism attacks started way back in February 1975, the first bombs to strike independent Kenya. There were two blasts in central Nairobi, inside the Starlight nightclub and in a travel bureau near the Hilton hotel. This was 36 years before Kenya troops stepped in Somalia. Why do you think pulling KDF out of Somalia will end Alshabaab attacks in Kenya?

 In 1998, 13 years before Kenya deployed its troops in Somalia there was another attack. Al Qaeda terrorist hit the US Embassy in Kenya resulting to hundreds of deaths and injuries. Why do you think pulling KDF out of Somalia will end Alshabaab attacks in Kenya?

In 2002, 9 years before KDF was deployed in Somalia al-Qaeda operatives in Somalia orchestrated an attack at paradise hotel in Kikambala, Mombasa. The reason behind the attack was to sabotage tourism industry in Kenya. Why do you think pulling KDF out of Somalia will end Alshabaab attacks in Kenya?

Looking at our neighbor Uganda in July 2010 there was one of the deadliest attacks in Kampala by the Somali based terrorist.  where suicide bombings was carried out against crowds watching the 2010 FIFA World Cup Final match at two locations in Kampala, the capital city of Uganda. The attacks left 74 dead and 71 injured. Why do you think pulling KDF out of Somalia will end Alshabaab attacks in Kenya?

In Tanzania 1998 terror attack on US embassy left more than 200 citizens dead. Tanzania has never been part of Amisom. Why do you think pulling KDF out of Somalia will end Alshabaab attacks in Kenya?

Alshabaab and terrorist attacks started way back before KDF was deployed to Somalia. Pulling KDF out of Somalia is a narrative orchestrated by Alshabaab. There is no guarantee pulling KDF out of Somalia will end Alshabaab attacks in Kenya.

It might be the start of another terrorism chapter. Below are the possible scenario after Amisom ends its mission:

Alshabaab will capture back the already liberated regions under Somalia National Army. SNA has only 21,000 serving soldiers which is a small number to occupy all the volatile regions where alshabaab enjoy massive following. Why do you think pulling KDF out of Somalia will end Alshabaab attacks in Kenya?  

Warlords and ethnic clashes will raise again this will be engineered by the political class and ethnic leaders. Why do you think pulling KDF out of Somalia will end Alshabaab attacks in Kenya?  

Alshabaab will reorganize and equip its members with more sophisticated weapons and launch big attacks against Kenya. Terrorism thrives in conflict. Why do you think pulling KDF out of Somalia will end Alshabaab attacks in Kenya?  

Alshabaab will cease fire and negotiate with government. Considering alshabaab is not pursing any political ideology. This is the least among the things to happen. Why do you think pulling KDF out of Somalia will end Alshabaab attacks in Kenya?
