Meet President Uhuru’s Elder Sister Who Was Unbeatable Athlete And Was To Represent Kenya in Olympic


The Kenyatta family is so broad bearing the fact that former President Mzee Jomo Kenyatta had four wives. President Jomo Kenyatta had Grace Wanjiku who was daughter of Senior Chief Koinange as his third wife.

Unfortunately, Grace died while she was conceiving Jane Makena Wambui who is popularly known as Jeni who doubles as half sister of President Uhuru Kenyatta since they share the same father

Jeni Wambui Makena studied in Kenya High school whereby she was a star not only in academics but in athletics. Jeni Wambui was a very good athlete during her high school days whereby at one point she topped the regional athletic competitions in the country

After clearing school, President Uhuru Kenyatta’s sister Jeni was at one time set to represent Kenya in the Olympics competition due to her prowess in athletics. However, she had to pull off few days before the competition due to a career threatening injury that saw her to retire from athletics at a tender age

Jeni Makena Wambui by the is the mother of Soiya Gecaga, Nana Gecaga who is the CEO of KICC and Jomo Gecaga who is the Personal Secretary of President Uhuru Kenyatta
