Details now indicates that former president Mwai Kibaki who was succeeded by president Uhuru Kenyatta in 2013 will play a key role in determining the next president of Kenya after president Uhuru Kenyatta in 2022.
According to the report, Mwai Kibaki is the only remaining factor that determine who will lead this country. A candidate who will manage to get his endorsement will likely emerge a winner according to the report due to his popularity in the country.
It’s remembered that economy of the country rose during Kibaki’s era and it’s believed that he will endorse a candidate with a vision similar to his.
Currently, he has not declared a candidate he will endorse and some of his aides are supporting former prime minister Raila Odinga, others are supporting deputy president William Ruto.
