A police in Narok County has been arrested after he allegedly picked up a female juvenile, took her to his house where he defiled her for the whole night.
In a report seen by the press, the officer identified as Mr Anthony Leteipa took the 16-year-old girl from Sakuteik Police Station station and went with her inside his house within the camp’s compound.
The victim had been held together with another jivenile in offence of children in need of care and protection and were to be placed in court on Monday, December 5, 2022.
The following morning, around 6am, the cop took the child back inside the police cell, the police report read.
It is after a group of police officers headed by the Deputy Officer Commanding Station (OCS) Narok Police Station was send to Sakutiek Police Station where the defilement happened.
Both the girl and the cop were rushed to Narok Police Station before being taken to Narok Referral Hospital.
“The cop has been nabbed and placed in cell and will be placed in court on Tuesday the December 6, 2022,” the report further stated.
