Lugari Member of Parliament Ayub Savula has claimed Deputy President William Ruto bribed Musalia Mudavadi with a KSh 300m house to drop his presidential aspirations.
Speaking during a morning radio show, Savula explained that Jubilee Party secretary-general Raphael Tuju informed him that Mudavadi had been handed a multimillion house. “Malala has a house built by Ruto in Kakamega. Musalia’s house in Karen Tuju has told me was also built by Ruto. The Jubilee Party secretary-general called me and said Ruto had given Musalia Mudavadi KSh 300m,” said Savula
Savula said that he stands by his word on the matter and can swear an affidavit to say Mudavadi was given a house to drop out of the presidential race. “He called me and I can go to court and swear an affidavit. I don’t fear anything. We can go to Safaricom and they will show my conversation with Tuju. We don’t want people toying around with the Luhya community. If Musalia didn’t want to be a president he shouldn’t have toyed with the Luhyas all these years,” declared Savula.
