Deputy President William Ruto has allayed fears that he will be rigged out if he wins the Tuesday, August 9, presidential race.
The DP who has hinted at using the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) as his political vehicle argued outfit’s wins in recent mini-polls showed the so-called deep state had no influence.
Speaking to Trans Nzoia residents while on a campaign tour, Ruto expressed confidence he would be declared the winner if he garners the requisite 50% plus one vote.
“You heard that guy who likes putting on a chain on his neck (Francis Atwoli) saying that hustler won’t be on the ballot paper. Now they have changed tune, they are saying that even if I win I won’t be declared the winner by the deep state and the system, He said
Adding that “Mkiona nakaa mtu wa kunyang’anywa kura kweli? If we won against the handshake team and the deep state and system in Msambweni, Juja and Kiambaa then who are they to think they can rig us out even if they can’t win an MP seat? That’s daydreaming” Priomising to beat them on August 9th.
