Nairobi Woman Representative, Esther Passaris, has embarrassed a young man who begged her money on social media.
The unknown man from Roysambu had asked the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) lawmaker to send him some little cash to cater to some needs.
“Nitumie Kakitu Mamaa,Niko Njaa hapa Roysambu,” the young man wrote.
But in a fierce rejoinder, Passaris reminded the young man that sustainable life cannot be achieved through handouts, noting that former Prime Minister Raila Odinga has the level best for this nation through his Azimio la Umoja movement.
Passaris noted that Raila Odinga will open more opportunities for Kenyans once he takes over power, saying that he will change the narrative from that of hopelessness to changing the lives of Kenyans for good.
“DM your number. Tell me about you and your career dream? How do you best see you being able to take care of your needs? Handouts are not sustainable. #BabaHandUpSocialFund will open opportunities.
#LetsEngage last Change your thoughts; change your life. Avoid negative labels,” Passaris told the man.
