Suspected Borana raiders attacked Gabra Herderson in Marsabit County yesterday at around 1530Hrs while they were grazing within Illdido area.
An exchange of fire ensured when a team of officers from KPS and BPU rushed to the scene. One of the attackers, who is believed to be between 25-30 years died in the process and was moved to Marsabit Hospital for identification and postmortem.
Further investigations are being conducted.
