Youth and Politics

In the political arena, youths are usually used as foot soldiers. Top leaders try to control the youth in a way they are not able to improve themselves economically, financially and politically In Kenya we do not have systems that intentionally support young people to be in politics. We lack political grooming.

We need to know the root causes that inform issues that plague young people; society has conditioned the youth to know that they are disorganized and can’t work together to form long lasting political alliances. Surely if the youth are the majority of the population, they can create systems and processes that actually get others to leave their table and come to theirs

The youth need to get organized, we are speaking of unemployment but we are drowning in an ocean of opportunities that are untapped. Kenyan youth must know that you reap what you sow, your actions today will haunt you.
